a) Selenium supports a wide range of browsers like IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera.

b) Open source (no price for using) framework.

c) Selenium supports lot of language supports like Java, Ruby, Python, C#, Perl ,PHP and JavaScript

d) Supports a wide range of Operating systems like Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac OS

e) Selenium can be integrated with testing tools like TestNG and Junit, and use the functionality of these tools like developing reports.

f) Test cases written in a language can be reused to run the in that language any time. There is also scope to change or update the test cases in the language and run the tests again.

g) There is a scope for parallel execution of test cases and view the execution of tests.

h) There is provision to combine test cases and group them as regression, functionality and smoke etc... And select and execute which ever group/s you want to execute
